Well, you can still be above your underlings even if your underlings are better at certain things than you. Durability is Kaido's selling point. The prime reason why he's hailed as WSC, but it's not the only reason why he is the WSC. Also, I doubt Zoro released Enma to attack King, which he did against Kaido.

Of course your underlings can be better in certain areas. That's a given.

But to those who think King > Kaido for some insane reason, they clearly don't understand the hierarchy of the Beast Pirates, and the fact that it's built on strength, and the one who sits at the top is the Strongest.

Not to mention, King isn't even a human, so if they are one of those people who for some reason think Kaido's title only applies to literal Creatures/Humanoids, then you still lose in that regard as well, because Kaido's title puts him above King.

Yeah but King can be better than Kaido at Kaido's best stat.
It just means King is relative to Kaido in power, like Kaido is high top tier King is mid top tier.

It's possible, but extremely unlikely. Even if it is harder to break King's defense than it is to break Kaido's, Kaido might still be able to withstand much thougher attacks than King as Kaido isn't just all about durability; we need to also factor in endurance and recovery rate.

Kaido's endurance is even more beastly than his durability if you ask me. Big Mom started crying soon after getting hit by a few rods while Kaido's been getting stabbed by every swordsman he's fought and had his internals crushed by multiple people, yet he's going strong.

But your not getting my point. Marco was completely fresh and in regeneration form when Garp punched him. Marco could not regen that damage.

Marco had that bruise from Garp for a single panel before healing it off later.
