Because it makes sense. Tris actually got role blocked as confirmed by herself and Enryu. Ryu knew that and he was the first to come out and say it. Only the spy can know what happened to her last night. Ryu's claim adds up. Don specifically brought up spy out of nowhere instead of just an invest role in general, implying he knew the spy existed in the game. He defends Ryu when Midnight incriminates him. It's pretty clear to me what's going on. Everything checks out. That leaves Midnight, our exe.
