why Mihawk fandom put Mihawk over Oden randomly?

Oden evenly matched to Kaido

Mihawk evenly matched to Vista
He is the furthest man to One Piece, like Moria and Crocodile.

Oden found the One Piece as being equals with Roger and Rayleigh, Gaban etc.

There is no evidence that Mihawk didn't try as a pirate, even if he didn't try like WB, WB was still the ''closest man to One Piece''.

Mihawk is a pirate failure.

Except Kaido wasn't has strong 20 years ago and wasn't a Youkou. So Oden didn't need to be Youkou level to be fighting him equally.
that Kaido was far weaker then than he is now.
lso this Kaido 20 years ago as well.
this is Kaido 20 years ago....which is a lot more weaker.
None of that is BS. Kaido was not a youkou 25 years ago nor 20 years ago.
What exactly is the narrative that Kaido grew significantly stronger over the 20 years based on?!?!
  • Kaido did not appear to grow over the 5 years Oden spent dancing.
  • We have not been told Kaido was not a Yonkou back then.
  • We have not been told Kaidou grew stronger since then. We've only been told that he grew stronger since his Rocks days, but that's around two years before his battle with Oden.
The scabbards mentioned that they are stronger, we've been told Kaido is stronger than his Rocks days, so when characters grow stronger Oda tells us. Yet he didn't say anything about Kaido being stronger? On the contrary, Kaido becoming significantly stronger doesn't actually fit thematically. A huge point has been made about how no one could take Kaido's head in the 20 years since Oden's death, how only Enma has scarred Kaido, how only Oden could beat Kaido. None of that makes any sense if Kaido back then is significantly weaker. It makes no sense to hype up Enma and Oden if Oden fought an inferior Kaido. The narrative is not one of Kaido being this newly emergent threat, but of Kaido being a tyrant that has terrorised Wano for decades.

There is no narrative reason for current Kaido to be significantly stronger than 20 years ago, and it runs contrary to the narrative that Oda has set up. The only reason to insist that flashback Kaido is substantially inferior to his present self is to preserve some preferred powerscaling; well I've got news for you — Oda doesn't care about powerscaling — if you want to argue that current Kaido is stronger, then make narrative arguments for it, powerscaling arguments are utterly unconvincing.

3 people equal to Kaido form 20 years ago and Roger?

Ganab in officially is more overhyped than Mihawk now

a man with no hype
a man with no feat
a man with no achievement

can be ranked equal to none Prime Kaido cause his name is Scopper Gaban
You guys look down on Mihawk for every opportunity?
I can't wait for the day he stops anyone from saying a word against him.

Kaido was Oden lvl 20 years ago, so a top tier, basically ahead of all the current admirals at the time, and we already know he kept the lead lol

Oda managed to wank Oden and make him look good while the end result is still Kaido was and still a beast, wanking Oden is the bad part but Kaido is still clean and the undisputed strongest top tier now

sure .... the fact that current Kaido can fight Big Mom for 2 days and take no damage prove nothing

hype Oden as much as you want ... he ain't Big Mom level

Oden never managed to turn Enma or Ame no habakiri into a black blade. Tenguyama stated that in Zoro's hands Enma might jump in rank and becomes one, so it depends on the skill of the user.

Oden fought and lived with both swords since he was 18, but to his death didn't manage to turn it black, while 40 year old Mihawk already has one.

Mihawk's sword skill > Oden's

Also. Mihawk's the WSS, a title specifically invented to honour his sword skills.

That's about it buddy.

The SHs can grow significantly stronger in 2 years but Kaido cant in 20 ??!? Erm...simmer down.

You act as if Kaido stays in his island all the time like Meme. This dude is always going to other islands and facing marines. Forcing people to join his crew and whatnot. You seriously think hasnt grown much stronger after 20 years lol. Bois done lost his mind.

Simple Shonem narrative is enough to be fair anyone not wanting to accept it is in a huge denial.

Whatever Mihawk shows in the future will be above any previous swordman in the series.

People shitting on Mihawk title that is always introduced directly yet they hold on Kaido title that is always introduced with " they say"...

The hypocrisy of some users.:few:

Nothing in this chapter makes current kaido weaker than any other top tier tbh and doesn't even stop him from being the current strongest. Man was fighting oden and oden has nothing that puts him under any current top tier either (not even mihawk)

I wonder why oda wont show us even silhouettes of the calamities and kaidos hybrids. I know hes saving it for the hype but its weird. And yes hybrid is obviously a zoans strongest form 99% of the time

And don't surprise me here but its funny people seem more ok with zoro coming out wano stronger than kaido than luffy ending up being able to solo or equal him in power
