Jozu vs Aokiji had no 3rd party. If there was a 3rd party it was when Whitebeard was holding Aokiji back for Jozu to attack him.

And yeah Marco got gypped, but Marco couldn't even stop Akainu for more than 5 seconds. That was the difference in power.
