You make it sound like King is weak once you figure out his secret. King still has incredible speed, strength, durability, mobility, flight, AP and CQC.

There is a big difference between WCI Luffy and post rooftop ACoC Zoro. Oda is still having ACoC Zoro defeat King.

King's AP is not so good. and speed is nothing when you have FS. ( and King gets weak )

left over your durability (it won't be fast anymore) and basic stats, which will be destroyed in the fight.

That maybe had potential but honestly it didn't deliver for me.

WsW main attack was an attack we already saw used by lucci (shigan madara) and overall the fight was too "easy" for Jimbo.

The moment he want mad he destroyed him.

And WsW didn't used his sword at all. The guy had a 5 meters long scabbard but only for a tiny knife that he barely used after that. I would have prefered WsW to use his sword more and with a more original fighting style.

I'm rather keeping my expectations low than high now. Sure, I'll wait for the full summary but face reveal + flashback + defeat in a single chapter still seems very rushed.

His defense is still linked to his flames and he did heal using fire. It's not easy to exploit King's defense actually. If he moves too fast then he becomes really hard to hit. And if he becomes slow, then he becomes damn near impossible to hurt even if you hit him. And it's not like his states become low-level or anything. He was fighting Marco in base with his flames on and apparently endured Zoro's COC attacks in his speed mode.
