General & Others Ruination of a character - Sanji, The Predator, The Gag and the Rock Lee of One Piece

For God's sake, what an edgy, pretentious attitude.
Throughout pretimskip we had Zoro and Sanji facing in many instances the main villain's strongest subordinates, with the hierarchy of Lucci, Kaku and Jabra being the most explicit clue on the powerscaling of the three monsters labelled as such by Nami. Their rivalry (yes, rivalry) was highlighted not only in terms of personality but also strength-wise both directly (said example of Kaku and Jabra, we may argue Kuroobi and Hatchan or Mr. 1 and Mr. 2 too) and indirectly (both end up hunting dinosaurs of equal sizes in Little Garden while arguably paralleled with Dorry and Brogy themselves; Mohji and Cabaji, who dislike each other like our guys and are both second and third to Buggy, fight to a literal draw for leadership after their captain is defeated; their zombies clash equally in Thriller Bark, even in spite of Sanji's being a joke since they thought his shadow wasn't as strong as he ended up being).
While not assuring that they were virtually equal, none of the previous would work with a big gap in strength between them. If Zoro stood out alongside Luffy he would face a second Crocodile, Lucci, or Arlong instead of second-class enemies even explicitly paired with Sanji's; he would have been able to hunt the bigger prey with ease; either Mohji or Cabaji would have shown dominance over the other; his stronger zombie would have obliterated Sanji's weak penguin...
How can you strut about being the smarter fish in the pond while accusing others of lacking reading comprehension and insulting them as stupid rodents (What are you, fifteen?) when you are blatantly ignoring (with conscious dishonesty, either that or biased) the huge amount of details Oda put in the pretimeskip story that wouldn't work if Sanji wasn't a monster by himself and way closer to Zoro than some people (mainly his hard fans) believe?

I agree 100%. Sanji is my favorite SH despite all the negative shit you described. I like the fighting style, the Mr. Prince moments and the badassery, but his... "sexual" side, so to say, disgusts me to a great extent . I hope Yamato joins. She'll be my favorite SH.

Don't Lie this whole thread is cap in retrospect....... Rock Lee lost to Gaara and has never won a fight in Naruto. Nobody who read Naruto ever saw Rock Lee as 3rd in anything. In Shippuden Rock Lee literally has nothing. Sanji Outclasses the relevance of Rock Lee as a whole both Pre and Post Timeskip. And his Flawed belief that Sanji was as strong as Zoro and should be as strong as Zoro is what drags the quality of the thread.......

Everyone thinks Rock Lee is pretty strong. He was introduced no diffing both Naruto(no big deal) and Sasuke(a litte impressive). At those fight before final Chunnin stage he was most likely the 2nd strongest after Gaara(or even stronger since Gaara won by a little trick?).
Shippuden was written dirty. Is all about Sasuke, Naruto, Madara and bullshit.
