Yeah unfortunately. I used to dream of it after Kaido was revealed but gave up on it before Onigashima at least especially lol. It would make sense and be extremely hype if Akainu defeated and captured Kaido at least once before though. I really wanted Kaido's scar to be caused by Akainu too lol.

Akainu vs Kaido would be such an interesting and of course spectacular as well fight too imo.

I used to think kaido got scar from akainu cause luffy have similar scar to kaido. Then oda manga happen.

Reality just make kaido look bad cause he got scar from oden guy, and still have pstd from oden guy. Kaido have to sneak attack oden to win the battle.

The pro akainu scar kaido is actally more pro kaido wank than oda manga . This theory say akainu scar kaido, and got defeat by him and got in jail. But kaido escape from prison. That it.

Exactly! Oda's version with the whole Oden storyline and almost non-existent and lackluster backstory for Kaido so far is really ruining his character. It just makes me think, if Oden could screw over Kaido this badly, what would Prime Rayleigh or even Roger have done to him? Or Whitebeard?

Akainu vs Kaido works in favour of both characters but the whole hostage angle with Oden vs Kaido was degrading for both characters there.

I like Oden even though Oda tried way too hard to glorify him and make us love not even just like him but Oden vs Kaido was really underwhelming/disappointing for me. This is the best of we're ever gonna see of Oden and even everything probably too, nothing more to see with him anymore I guess so aside from permanently scarring and deeply wounding a future Yonko, I'm kinda underwhelmed.

Before wano arc starts, I used to place kaido as 1 and akainu as 2. Used to believe admirals = yonko by portray.

I mean kaido look like angry rage guy like akainu. But now kaido is guy who think he is joy boy, cry often, got panic when big mom is coming to his home only to be saved by king. Kaido has not killed anyone. Kinemon literally mock kaido threat.

Kaido is top tier who can’t punch or use bare hand close combat. Freaking big mom can punch.:gokulaugh:. kaido is clubman :gokulaugh:.

Hahaha right? I felt like Kaido was the Akainu of the Yonkos and pirates even.

Hahahahaha! Can you imagine if Oda ever wrote the Admirals in that way?! Wait I shouldn't joke about that, lmfao! But seriously, he really did Kaido and Big Mom dirty. Big Mom has killed WAY more of her own "allies" and family then actual enemies on-screen. Oden effectively commited suicide and let Kaido get the kill steal lol.

Yeah, I'm seriously disappointed in that. I was expecting Kaido to be this amazing CoC and especially CoA user, who would fight brutally/savagely but with honesty too. He would prefer his club but if he didn't have it or he was really having fun, he'd just punch you and use more hand to hand type moves. Kaido really is a clubman hahaha.

Big Mom just uses a sword when she needs to or feels like but Kaido is just a baseball player in his default form and a pacifista and baseball player in hybrid lol. Dragon form Kaido had the most interesting and devstating attacks by far from all his forms BUT is a massive sitting duck/punching bag and just ends up tanking loads of hits and thus damage.

I really wanted to see brutal hand to hand, boxing type fights even with Kaido and Akainu. I wanna see how Garp fares against Kaido currently too but we'll probably never get that either sadly.

King is nothing to bowser. Zoro can’t kill bowser no matter what.
Mario base physical strength is literally lift the castle like nothing (Super Mario world)
Closing greatest strength feat in one piece is Jonz ice lift. But rock > ice by weight.

But yeah base Sonic out speed Milhawk and one shot him. Milhawk is not durablity monster and Sonic face worst enemies and eggman is more threat than any yonko or WG.

I was literally around during that entire timespan! In fact that was my element! All I’d do is watch sprite fights and death battles comparing both Mario and sonic and i’d go base off videogame feats to defend the hell out of Mario but at that time I was (and still am) mostly bias on mario’s side

Don’t get me wrong but I love Sonic but Mario is my childhood and typically people go for Sonic but only because he’s cooler but man!!!

This just made my day! Never thought I’d meet another youtube debater on this sort of topic. Mario and Sonic debates is where i first began debating. Also with the mario and luigi debating nonsense….they’re brothers and 2 of my fav characters…dk why people even bother to compare

Mario could breathe casually in soace+be blasted to planets and land on his bare legs without any damage and defeat giant, galactical beings without much effort and even out run black holes….NO one piece character can do this….

Oda will never do that. I want to sound convincing and bring in more details but if people have not realized this after 1036 chapters then there is no helping it.

He has done this several times:

1) Roger vs Whitebeard
2) Whitebeard vs Akainu/or any other admiral (all-out battle)
3) Big Mom vs Kaido
4) Mihawk vs. Vista
5) Mihawk vs. Shanks

But, we are getting close as YC1s/right-hand men are being taken down and the next phase will deal with Yonkos.

Yes that is sadly true, he loves throwing us these breadcumbs and never letting us get the full loaf or something like that lol. It really is a shame. I'm certain we're never going to see the full God Valley fight either or even Aokiji vs Akainu either too, it's extremely frustrating.

Interesting fact:

When we use goroawase in the number 1037, we can read it as 自由皆 (jiyuu mina). That means Freedom for the People. IF (and it's a great IF) Oda really uses it, I think is going to be a great chapter (possibly Luffy chapter). :cheers:
