Powers & Abilities Does Marco and King not having conquerors or awakening make it more or less hype?

--Talking about COC only adv coc matters and its fine , not every one is born with it
--How awakening works is very vague , pre skip characters like enel/croc seems to have mastered their DF still are not Awakened , its more to do with plot
--And no marco/king are strong without them. They easily defeat doffy and King's race awakening > ancient zoan awakening

They are old men in their 40s. At that age having CoC is not enough if it's not advanced. Shame though they haven't awakened their Zoans. Marco in particular since he doesn't have any special gifts and abilities like King.
Kata is still the perfect YC given he has complete mastery of his fruit and 1 haki ability and his CoA is also amazingly high level. Pretty decent considering admirals will have one haki specialization (or two at most) and devil fruit awakening/mastery

I mean the roof 5 are just more talented than the old guard. What you can say about Law and Kid applies even more so for Luffy.
But since you brought them up, I think its important to note that those 2 are far more dependent on their powers than King. King is a lunarian and as a result doesn't depend on his fruit that much. In fact I'd go so far to say that his fruit is secondary to his natural lunarian abilities.
As a result, King never awakened while Law and Kid did. As for Marco, we haven't seen enough of him, he could still have awakening up his sleeves.

Honestly I thought the partial transformation stuff might've been a form of awakening but at this point eh idk. It probably shows better mastery than most but probably isn't straight up awakening
Plus with laffitte able to do the same, jack weird hybrid form, and kaido not being able to do the same. it makes it even more weird. Tho jack might be due to drugs like black maria and chopper

Marco not having Awakening kinda reminds me of Bankai's in Bleach at the time when many were not revelead and that's probably because author didnt know/want to think about them. Same here.
Him not having CoC makes totally sense (unlike Zoro cofcof), same for King. They didnt show anything like Luffy and all Conquerors (aside from Rayleigh who has it for plot purposes and Katakuri maybe for the future when he will be Captain of his family).
Though we might have some databook/vivrecard in the future with the reveal of him having it (awakening). Same for King/Queen for example. But these two had their own special "stuff"/traits.

Law wasn´t even YC3lvl in DR but suddely learn awakening as young pirate, same for Kid and co.
Zoro got adv CoC and already have adv CoA(step1), Sanji got modified power and DJ(had hakii in combo)...
Fuck forget CoC, not everyone have to need CoC, but you can´t tell me that a 47 and 56 old guy working over decade under Kaido, make their own names, having bounties over 1.3, them not at least awakening their df is bullshit. They don´t even had any adv haki...
At least give these guys awakening, as veteran and with a bounty of 1B+ they should had awakening but nope.
