Chapter Discussion What do you think about Seika commanders ?

We were introduced to 4 Seika Commanders for now.

What do you think about them ? Which one will be smart type ? Strong type ? Monster type ? Who will be the greatest ?
Do you like their introduction compared to previous army commanders etc ?

What do you expect for them stats like and compared to other good vassals ?

Got right hand man vibes from Gakushaou. He might be the strongest among them..

My guess:

Gakushou and Jyoukaryuu smart type

Kan Saro and Ji Aga instinctual/martial types probably

No way to tell for sure

They are probably capable on their own right, they serve a 3GH candidate, they might be early match ups for the youngsters

I agree that Gakushou seems better than Jyoukaryou. Jyou asked Gaku his opinions and Gaku seems to be the lead during the meeting.

Like Kan Saro seems to be the lead among the two giants.

So I think the best one will be among those two.

But I think there will be a 5th main one in Seika army :

Seikaun is the one i'm looking forward to seeing in action the most. To be very frank, archers have effectively just been background characters in the story so far. They are mostly all mostly fodders or just irrelevant.

I really do hope we can see some strong acher generals in battle. We need more variety in the types of fights and the different strategies that could be used to deal with it, similar to Shin vs. Gaku Haku Kou.

Because the majority of fights have just been "swing sword/glave/mace"

The first two that was with Riboku in the meeting seems to be very intelligent but still pretty strong. The two tribal looking generals sent by Riboku to Roumou is probably warriors type. If I have to guess, Gakushou and Jyoukaryuu is giving me Gyou'Un and Chougaryuu vibe so they're gonna be on the same level or tad bit weaker than the latter two. Kansaro and Jiaga can be on Gyou'Un/Chougaryuu/Bananji level of martial might which hypes Shibashou even more.

I agree GKHK fight vs Shin was good because it changed things a bit and it was a bol of fresh air.

I want too some strong archer. And those 2 had been hyped quite a bit. I think Seikaun will be the main threat outside of SBS. Like some 94/90/85 guy with insane martial arts with bows.

Ba Shu Ri seems the strongest bow of them all but Seikaun and Senshubi are top 3.

Gakushou is probably a young prodigy sort of type. I would bet that he and Shibashou grew up together and are relatively close in age. He could be a duelist, but I expect him to be a decent tactician.

Jyoukaryuu, he's an old veteran. Probably fought in the age of the old 6GGs and zhao Heavens, maybe even under Chousha(the final Zhao heaven) bet he taught Shibashou some tricks.

Kansargo and Jiaga? Strong physical types. I'm sure that they have tons of experience, but not sure who they would have fought against.

I'm hyped about Kan Saro and Ji Aga. Ji Aga feel brute so I'm wishing he's instinct type and face Shin. Ou hon could then face Kan Saro.
It'd be wonderful if Shin n Ou hon units are tasked with taking this castle alone.

Gaku shou seems to be intelligent type. Mouten could face him, this would be good hype for him.

Don't care about Jyoukaryuu.

I thought we learned that lesson before lol? Hara literally set the same trap with the "Looks can be deceiving" example when Manu was instantly considered a fodder the moment he debuted like a random Chu General, yet the same Manu overpowered the strongest General Qin could offer with a single arm knocking him off his horse like a little bitch.

Someone like Jiaga could unprecedentedly obliterate Zenou in a 1v1 for all we know lol.

How do you think Shiba will be incorporated into Riboku's grand strategy? And who will he face?

I think he might be reserved for Gian, that place seems to be of significance to cut off the path to prevent the royal Zhao family escape, the big portion of the battles might be there, Atsuyo is probably the equivalent of Retsubi, while Gian and and the place Riboku governed the Gyou/Shukai Plains of this arc.

In the reddit theory, the cavalry side is interesting. I could see Shibashou setting up a strategy that utilizes the exceptionality of his cavalry to ultimately be successfull. Preparing the plan, then leading his men personally and grabbing the Qin forces by the balls. There we'll also get a first good look at how strong he is martially.
