After king there are tons of things he can do and still not be in that tier. Starting from the fact that CoC is luffy’s speciality so he will always overpower zoro no matter what. Just accept it

I'm starting to think that the skeleton piercing Zoro's body will be just the representation of him experiencing double pain. It wouldn't be that impactful to see Zoro screaming more and more, losing a lot of blood or just fainting.
Zoro hallucinating and actual panels of Zoro getting cut and pierced in his imagination are way more graphic

Look Oda could have gone with the classical nothing happen moment which Zoro is standing next to bloodbath but that didnt happen.

Zoro fully healed 100% was almost dying against King

It never fully healed him. Fulling heal characters don't have scuff marks and bruises all over their body. It helped him recover some of his injuries but didn't recover his energy.
