Kaidou knocked Luffy out in 923 around fodder, nobody except Luffy fainted.

His awakening is specifically "Assigning" magnetism to others. If there are other aspects to it (there probably is since he teased it), then Oda would have given him another named move to go with it.

There is literally no difference between how Kid formed the bull to how he makes any other thing he uses to attack people, outside of 1030 where he uses awakening.

I think he's still using Big Mom as a magnet. That's why the attack had such an effect
