Atleast he lost to both, especially cuz its shown that Apoo let him fight alone, so he probably got easily overwhelmed cuz he was counting with Apoo's assistance, that simply wasn't there to assist him anymore

Anyway, if he beats that CP-0 dude, things will look better for him
