Funnily enough, Pirate Warriors 4 had Kaido being associated with ice powers too and that might have been the developers being told about him having them but why? Yamato has ice powers from her DF but why did they need to know and include it, for Kaido too?

Kaido is related to Oars blatantly somehow and I think he slaughtered Moria's crew because of Moria taking Oars' corpse maybe?

https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Oars

Oars was an evil giant called the Continent-Puller.[5] Legend has it that he amassed countries and islands under his control and his band of villains.[3] He also had a family, as Little Oars Jr. is his descendant.[10]
Five hundred years ago, Oars died in the Land of Ice.[3] After examining Oars's corpse, Tony Tony Chopper theorized that he died due to exposure to the elements or frostbite upon finding that the giant had been unprepared for the frozen climate, having worn only a loincloth. On top of this, Oars had sustained a serious injury to his right arm, which Hogback later repaired.[13]

Legacy

His fame as a terrible villain[3] and his status as the "Continent-Puller" did not disappear over time.[5] Ten years before encountering the Straw Hat Pirates, Gecko Moria and Hogback obtained his corpse in order to transform it into a zombie.[38]
Even five hundred years after his death, Oars is known widely enough that high-ranking Marines like Tsuru and Doberman recognized his descendant, Little Oars Jr., on sight and were visibly intimidated by the similar power he displayed.[10]

I don't know if the timing adds up, it was 10 years ago and I'm not sure how long ago the Kaido vs Moria thing happened, I know it was during Oden's flashback at some point? During the 5 years he danced there I think?
  • In a response to a fan who asked if Oars was a giant from Elbaf, Oda responded that Oars is a giant, but he is unusually large even by giant standards and not of Elbaf origin. Oda explained that Oars is similar to people in real life who are notably larger than others, and that he came from one of the many islands around the One Piece world that have giants inhabiting them.[4]
  • It is rumored that the country Oars created still exists to this day.[6]

On a side note, there are the 9 realms/worlds in Norse mythology I believe including a frozen one, so maybe Oars died in the OP equivalent of there? I thought Elbaf would be influenced by these realms potentially although Oda has said Oars is not from Elbaf ofc but maybe he could have died there anyway?

Ancient Giants are classed a tribe of Giants, not a seperate race too:

https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Giants#Ancient_Giant_Tribe

Elbaf is gonna be an extremely important arc I'm certain of it and I still believe it will be Shanks' territory/location and his main arc too, especially if Big Mom does go down here permanently too. Usopp has parallels as the David for David vs Goliath, but Shanks plays that role too amongst the gigantic Yonkos/titans (I suspect Big Mom is ironically a victim of gigantisation experimentation or have giant DNA modified into her somehow) .

It's also funny that Oars name is Oars like to row your boat ofc BUT it can also sound like/be spelled as Oz I believe and that lines in my headcanon that Elbaf or Vegapunk's main island will involved Wizard of Oz influences, some of the Supernovas will be the main characters of Wizard of Oz like Hawkins the Scarecrow and Nami as Dorothy the girl who was lost from her home? Or even Bonney?

We also don't know why Bonney is so similar to Big Mom yet and despite it being in the South Blue, her homeland of Sorbet Kingdom sounds exactly like a Big Mom territory with that name, being based on a certain type of frozen dessert ofc.

I'm rambling a lot of random ideas and speculation here but I think Elbaf will be massively important for many reasons and may be another Wano type arc. I hope not as long but it might just be depending? I think Vegapunk is being saved for post Wano, either Elbaf or a seperate arc at this point. I think Green Bull might debut at Elbaf but I'm not sure what Oda is doing with the Marines/Admirals right now as well as Sword too especially.

There's still so much to cover, to see, to think about and such, its UNREAL! Completely overwhelming...

Honestly I was hoping for this vs Kaido or Big Mom for SO LONG! I would love this so much! We need to see Franky's Anti-Kaido weapons too if its not another "forgotten/dropped" plot line or it was what he used on Sasaki, the V Victory Slash laser sword thing or w/e? That can't be it surely?

Thank you haha, I might do sometime. I don't know why I don't usually.

@Ghostly Reflections thoughts on who the final titanic captain is
I really wanted it to be Hawkins, Capone or Apoo especially Hawkins but I also suspected it will be Urouge somehow. I have an extremely vain hope for it to be Gin and I wanted it to be Orochi most of all maybe.

Currently I'm banking on either Urouge, Kuzan or someone else we know. Oda is hiding their identity for a reason, for a shock reveal. But I'm trying to think who else it could be and can't think of any good possibilities of characters we know?

Tama devil fruit awakening
In before it was used to enslave Zunisha for all these several centuries and thus even a life sentence potentially!

:luchosop::kidwat::strawhatock::pepestrike:

Seriously though, I'm terrified of what her awakening could be like. Affecting humans, Zoans, minks etc at least? Just how does her "taming" wear off even too? Does she need to be knocked out like Sugar or does it require her to release them or even for her to die to undo it?

I hate this DF so much...May as well make her a Kurozumi and be Orochi's daughter for what it does and how evil it is!
