Huh? Completely different stuff, though. Haki is haki. It's different from using a move from one mode while using some other mode.

IJ is its own mode with its own different pyre and likely its own different requirements/energy/limtations, etc etc.

Assuming Sanji can whip out HM in it is about as valid as assuming Zoro can whip out three times bigger Tatsumaki or something in Asura. Cool if happens and possibly sensible, but baseless.

I thought people assumed All DJ abilities = IJ abilities now because they thought IJ is just DJ with sparks lol. Oda emphasized even more on how they're completely different modes, even aesthetically.
Sanji flames have never shown any limitations. The only limitations were his own body not being durable enough for to bear the brunt of it. This is a running theme for Sanji in general, where the force of his kicks at times are above his body durability.

Either way if Sanji were to get diamond durability......hed shit out the hottest flame ever if he wanted to.

Limitations as in stamina cost, up-time cost, strain, how much one can generate at a time etc etc. The heat is only limited by how much Sanji's body + exoskeleton can endure, yeah.

Sure stamina could be a limitation. But then again Sanji was heavily fatigued pre IJ anyways. Stamina shouldnt limit Sanji from using HM IJ for a while if he has the durability to do so.

Technically HM should have been useable since Enies Lobby, yet that wasn't the case until post-skip.

Either way, point is that it's cool if it happens and can be sensible (just like Zoro whipping out a 3x mountain sized Tatsumaki in Asura), but kinda baseless to say it can already happen and factoring it into any real discussions.

On a personal head-canon level, I think both IJ HM and Asura Tatsumaki are possible :kayneshrug:

Didnt he basically use it in Thriller Bark lol. Gag or not. Basically did use it.

Its not baseless at all. Sanji stated " with the exoskeleton and haki, my body can now withstand hotter flames". Showing his durability was the only thing holding him back.
