Questions & Mysteries Luffy obviously has a DF of a mythical monkey but which one?

#1
Well i think we have speculated about many options for Luffy's DF but i think it is obvious Luffy has mythical zoan monkey monkey fruit.
why?
  1. Luffy's name is Monkey
  2. Oda was inspired by Dragon Ball and Luffy by Son Goku
  3. the story of Momotaru basically we already have, the ogre Kaido, who as a mythical Dragon, Momo as a peach colored Dragon , Marco as a mythical phoenix, Yamato as a mythical dog, and those three are more or less who can fight right now so only a mythical monkey is still required.
  4. Oda often draws Luffy as monkey or with a monkey.
  5. recently we have this color spread seeing a monkey king pointing his finger as something making it melts and in the last chapter we saw Luffy melting in the same way.
so i think we should accept the fact that he is a mythical monkey but what option do we have there? Wiki has a list of mythical monkeys mythical monkeys
the most obvious choice would be Sun Wukong but Oda already showed us that he doesn't do it like that since he choose the Phoenix , and the Wolf and Momo is not a beach more a peach Dragon. so i think it has to be another monkey.
the most likely choice is Hanuman, but i didn't read about the another monkeys in the list, so there might be a more suitable one.
anyway the melting and the abilities of Luffy could be explained by Hanuman's powers.: Hanuman

Feel like Luffy might feature properties of a logia instead of a zoan or at least I would love so. Perhaps he is a special paramecia that can turn into rubber displaying logia properties and turn his surrounding into rubber other than gaining a total new level of elastic power and capabilities.:josad:

"obviously"

That would be the ultimate retcon in manga story.

Better for Luffy's DF being pretty close related to Rubber still being a Paramecia.

Luffy represents a monkey because he's based on Sun Wukong like many other Japanese heroes. This quote is really funny:

the most obvious choice would be Sun Wukong but Oda already showed us that he doesn't do it like that
I don't think you are aware of Luffy being Sun Wukong since chapter one; even recent events can be linked to him since his name means "monkey who awakened in emptiness" (like Luffy awakening by dying) and went from a more basic phase to an enlightened one (maybe like Luffy's potential enlightenment as the new Joy Boy?).

So imagine you have a character based on Christ and you make such allegory literal by revealing them to be the actual Christ; well, that's how Luffy having the fruit of a mythical monkey would feel like.
