Yeah, there's Zunisha, massive Sea Kings, the legends of Nika, the Lunarian tribe, maybe all these mythical zoans were once creatures at that time as well, there are/were Dragons too in OP and Ryuma slayed one 800 years ago.

Either the AK created the df's and spread them around the world for a purpose, or the 20 allied Kingdoms stole it and spread them around to eventually create the balance of powers after void century and keep their shady business running.
