How Oda imagines the audience is reacting to this chapter:
How the audience actually reacts to this chapter:
>Oda knows exactly what he is doing.
Maybe he does. Maybe they wants to make Luffy's fights so trash that people will start begging for Zoro.
We'll see soon enough.
For me it's both reactions. I'm surprisingly enjoying the Looney Tunes, but at the same time I can't wait for it to be over, knowing that ZKK is coming. We're currently getting the best comedy from Joyboy and we'll soon get an epic monster samurai moment from Zoro. I can't complain.
"King of Hell" isn't goofy but edgy and cringe, which is why such individuals like it yet will despise Gear Fifth's abilities: they're stuck with the taste of a fifteen years old teen, hence why they will play the "I'm so mature" card and defend the most uninspired concepts like advanced conqueror's instead of something seemingly childish but significantly more creative.
They're just immature, hence too self-conscious to not be afraid of anything that doesn't reaffirm their biased perception of how adult a content should be to be enjoyed.

This clown are embarassing..... shanks panel with luffy was also a goofy moment right?
The first fuking chapter in One Piece was goofy for this guys right?
Nah it was a fuking badass one, with the classic shonen structure:
So much about requiring super df power nonsense....put some stake like in this panel and fan will appreciate more the manga

I'm actually enjoying this more than any other fight Kaido has been involved in so far. At least it has some soul.
Basse looney toons is for kids. Zoro being edgy and cringe as you claim is for teenagers. Even from that perspective Zoro's fans would be more mature than excepting this Garbage
First time i'm seeing this
Have always speculated that Zoro didn't lose that eye either is some form of training over promise to Mihawk or there is some special ability Zoro is hiding
