I just realised the monkey talisman being shapeshifting is a Wukong reference lmao.

On a semi related note, this game was very interesting, a futuristic dystopian take on Journey The West, the story of the Monkey King/Wukong ofc. Its very dark /grim and was pretty fun and immersive imo:


Its by the devs of Devil May Cry, Hellblade, Heavenly Sword etc. Also has Andy Serkis as "Wukong" too!
