Zoro came out of the TS training with a grand total of one new "swordsmanship" move and that was Rokudo no Tsuji, a Santoryu Ougi move. All of his other improvements were either stats or Haki, which is what he canonically trained with Mihawk.

Haki is intrinsic to swordsmanship.

Katakuri was hit by base Luffy. Katakuri could not beat veteran level Luffy. Katakuri can't hurt King.

You have to be strong and skilled with haki. Not just haki and a gimmick.

King CoA haki is better and stronger. Zoro needed CoA haki aura and ACoC to cut through it.

CoC the only works against fodder. So amazing. So glad you talk about that all the time like it makes a difference in battle.
