Looking up stuff it doesn't seem like inverse means scum. The impression I got is that it's more of a berserk mode in the series. Since the characters that have gone inversed use it more as a power-up.

Im still with you Tohka and whoever my third baby is which is probably Usopp or Juliet tbh.

Ask the hosts if it means you lose control of your actions or what? Because alignment change from town to hostile is borderline bastard if not bastard.
