Law and Kidd combo, Oda tried to give them equal amount of effort to take her down through statements, that's what he intended.

And maybe at EOS, he'll be as strong as King. That's not guaranteed but he should be able to reach that level with plot.

Kidd just defeated a Yonkou in Big Mom. That's one of the biggest achievements in the history of the One Piece world, something even the Pirate King wasn't confirmed to do. Weird time to be questioning his relevance in the powerscale.

Tbh I’d be very surprised if Kid ever gets another real fight like he did with Big Mom.

I expect in the future he’ll just show up as Luffy’s tsundere ally when Oda needs him and he’ll get tossed a cool scene or two.

Even if he gets involved when Shanks reappears he’ll be overshadowed by more important characters
