I used to think that when Oda got around to actually using Kid he’d make him and Killer seem to be ~ Luffy and Zoro.
That way you could use them as very effective hypetools later on for people like Shanks/Mihawk or Blackbeard/Shiryu.
That’s gone though, cause Luffy and Zoro stomp Kid and Killer.
I think Oda may well still go that route, but instead of us thinking “wow, Shanks just negged Kid, Luffy must still have someway to go to match Shanks” it would just be further shitting on Kid.

I saw the first post and whether or not kid get screentime is irrelevant as long as it sets up for what's to come. One piece focuses on Luffy's journey so he will always have screentime. Law got as much focus as he did simply because he is around luffy whereas kid isn't. Kid has his own journey and is not in a alliance with Luffy so it explains the lack of screentime he had until now.
Kidd is clearly relevant and you're unironically delusional if you think otherwise.

Doubtful. Kid’s pretty firmly in the tsundere ally to Luffy camp.
Going forward there’s simply no reason to care about Strawhat vs Kid Pirates in any capacity, especially after a fight with the Blackbeards. The Strawhats are just far, far too strong. It would be like following Luffy vs Lucci with another fight with Foxy.

Faster, better CoA and FS, has awekening too. He is a cut above Kidd
Kidd was tanking hits from Big Mom. Nothing Katakuri can pull is gonna be able to do much damage to him. Kata will get tired after a couple hours and then Kidd just whales on him. And if that doesn't work, then Kidd can simply speedblitz him with his railgun attack

Yes you need haki to hurt him as stated by Luffy.
Big Mom attacks were weak too tbh and he didn't tank that many of them, maybe a few punches not even coated with haki and some weakass attacks with her homies, even Capone did far better.
Also Kata can just suffocate him. But his normal attacks would be more than enough.
