Why can't Oda develop characters in the actual manga but feels the need to fill it with unnecessary running and plots that lead nowhere and then outsources the character development and backstories to databooks and SBS?

He hates us and just wants to milk us imo. But he also probably loves us for the fame, power, wealth etc he's gained due to us and such.

I say us very liberally ofc, as in anyone who buys the manga, dvds, blu rays, digital releases, merch of any kind, movie tickets etc.

OP is one of the de factors cash cows in Japan especially but is gathering steam worldwide more too due to twitter, YouTube and what not and actual support for Western localisation by Viz, Funimation and even Netflix.

I try to cope on how much more sincere, grounded, simpler, more relaxed/casual, heartfelt etc OP was in its much earlier days/origins.
