I really enjoyed them especially the 2nd one. It's really made with love for Sonic history and fanbase. Fantastic visuals and voice acting especially in no 2 and Jim Carrey also carries both films hard.
The human characters are pretty unnecessary, cringe, obnoxious and such especially in no 2 but there's also excellent character development, badassery and ingenuity from Robotnik, Sonic and Tails too.
Idris was truly iconic and awesome as Knuckles too.
I was almost screaming from hype and nostalgia, when a certain famous giant robot appeared too and was made even more badass than it was in the Sonic 2 game, although that was like 30 years or a bit less ofc.
Shame Jim is retiring from acting and thus "Robotnik won't be returning" either.
