Oda: I need more chapters for Tama plot, yeah also more flashbacks for the Samurai. Panels for running and stalling ofc too.
Also Oda: Give Kaido rushed half chapter Flashback, skip a entire story and most important one of Kaido(rocks).... For a villian who was set up since 400chapters, a major opponet who give Luffy 3 powerups at the same arc.

If he at least start the flashback of Kaido the last chapter, we could get more scenes, but nope Samurai got it with a scene which we see already in Oden flashback.

Also how he meet Queen and the other flying six, how he meet Jack, complete skipped.
Doflamingo pirates had a far better build up and better flashbacks.

How? Kaido has had flashback the last chapter too and also when Zoro defeated king he had the flashback. There is no chance of awakening at this point. Narratively its impossible to explain why he didn't use it yet and its also impossible to explain how he is that strong and durable without awakening.
