I really hoped there would be at least a nugget of info about the Void Century from Toki. But we got literally nothing except that her parents were originally from Wano, implying they left Wano for whatever reason.

And that's it. From her introductory chapter no less.

Yet Oda gave us immense exposition and screentime for Oden instead. It's the typical chauvinistic attitude of women should be seen, not heard and live in the shadows of men especially their husbands.

Sukiyakis death was so random and offscreend too. I prefer the idea that Higurashi was imitating him. He might have even escaped/faked his death somehow and thus the connections of him being Hitetsu go full circle and become true hopefully.

From the dialogue and pannels it was HEAVILY implied Higurashi offed him.
But I wouldn't count out him secretly being Hitetsu or even being in hiding somewhere.
