I used to think Killler's bounty would way overlap Sanji's during roof piece because he was the right hand man of one of the new leaders of the next generation. I thought everyone was going to get credit for roofpiece. At the time it made sense. Obviously things have since changed.

Disclaimer: I am not saying that it will be certainly this way, I was just considering this possibility and how feasible it was.
Maybe Oda will not consider this pattern at all, or maybe to him the third landmark is a 1.5+ B bounty, and not a 1+ B bounty

- Zoro alone will be the second one to hit it
- Sanji will hit it in the future after Zoro, accompanied by other crewmembers, e.g. Yamato, Jinbe and Robin.
- First landmark: getting first bounty
- Second landmark: getting a 100+ milions bounty
- Third landmark: getting a 1+ B bounty
Disclaimer: I am not saying that it will be certainly this way, I was just considering this possibility and how feasible it was.
Maybe Oda will not consider this pattern at all, or maybe to him the third landmark is a 1.5+ B bounty, and not a 1+ B bounty

Don't confuse him with someone like Zoro.
As an example post Dressrosa, Luffy had 500 and Zoro had 320. Some gap but not as huge as the 470m and 200m gap.
I can legit see a situation where Kid is at 2B while Killer is below 1B.
Sanji and Zoro are hugely favored by the match ups they got. Defeating the calamities will net them bounties on a similar level + plus some captain inflation.
Killer, Drake and some of the strawhats got fucked hard when Oda decided to not include the big mom Kids chilling below the water falls lol. Defeating Hawkins a perennial loser is meh, would have been better of fought maybe Who's who while Jinbei defeated Sweet Commander Smoothie given the bitter history he has with Big mom pirates. Bepo too could have gotten some decent feats by fighting maybe Daifuku.

Wrong, Killer is one of those 2nd men who have been with the captain since the very start.
You are talking about 1st Commanders like Marco, Arbel and Katakuri.
- Marco ---> An apprentice who grew up on Newgate's ship, becoming one of his sons
- Arbel ---> A prisoner who was freed and recluted by Kaido, who saw potential in him
- Katakuri ---> A son of Linlin who grew up to be the strongest of his siblings
All these are much younger than their captains, the gap in strenght with them is proportionally huge and are never refered with terms like 'partner'.
Killer is actually the only one refered with this title, meaning that he fought the same battle Kidd fought (i.e Kaido) and both started from the same point.
Only characters with a similar status, even tho not stated explicitely, are people like Zoro, Rayleigh back in the day and maybe Beckman.
I don't blame Oda for making Killer fight Hawkins, it was the most logical thing narrative-wise (I made a really detailed thread about it).
- Putting him in the Linlin fight would've been overkill
- King and Queen were already picked for Zoro and Sanji
- Jack would have been a good matchup, I would've liked to see it, but there was no emotional background for it
- F5 would have been destroyed even worse than Hawkins
So, at the end of the day, Oda needed a character able to hold Killer for some time (blackmailing doll) and with some emotional background (alliance betrayal). Hawkins was perfect for the role and seeing Killer utterly destroying him physically and mentally was a real treat for me.
Vinsmoke name already gifted him a bump, I doubt it will happen again.
It's just that Sanji defeated an enemy with higher value on paper and showed off in front of the armies.
Killer, on the other hand, worked behind the enemy lines (no spectators on the Rooftop, isolated in his 1v1 against Hawkins).
That's why I think his bounty will be chosen by Marines in proportion to Kidd's.
