I thought for a moment,that I would probably lose all respect for Oda if I met him personally and he would actually talk about women as he writes about them. Drizzt is actually a massive fan of Nami and has been for years too, so this does bother him too on a personal level as he clearly expresses in his videos. Drizzt is very level headed and mature and I've seen him talking to people on his server and how he responds to them with respect and patience, same with his Youtube comments and on Twitter despite the overwhelming hate he gets.
Its funny because a lot of people like to stereotype him as a neckbeard/incel when he respects female characetrs and such LOL.

This is why in my humble opinion he shouldnt have attempted writing female fighters in this series
