Watch Killer get the same bounty as Zoro, despite the fact that Zoro scarred Kaido and beat a 1.39 billion bounty All Star, while Killer did like 0.1% damage to Kaido and only beat a 320 million bounty headliner

It makes no sense that they have the same bounties and yet only Luffy is an emperor.

WG makes the bounties, emperor is a unofficial title probably chosen by the media.

Luffy, Law, and Kid have equal bounties bc the WG doesn’t want Luffy to be seen as a leader. They want to downplay his involvement as much as they can so not to help the prophecy of Nika come true.

The news on the otherhand, we already know they will spite the WG for a good story. Unlike Law and Kid, luffy has the main requirements for being an emperor: A vast fleet and political territory.

If you treat the Bounty and Yonko systems as part of an ongoing story they make sense. If you treat them as fan service for power levelers ofc they wont
