That's the point though. Oda showed that Zoro is clearly superior to Killer when he could've just lumped them together as second fiddle to the three captains. Instead, we saw Zoro impressing not only Kaido & BM but also Kid and Law with his showings.

They were surprised because zoro quickly went all out. Whereas Kid and Law were significantly holding back. Oda lumped luffy kid and law with yonkos. Zoro with king

How long can buggy in all seriousness hold on to the yonko title? There are always upstarts who come to challenge the yonkos. Like in the past Crocodile, moriah. In the contemporary timeline Ace. In current timeline Luffy, Kid, blackbeard, uruoge, bege, they all came for yonkos ass in there own way. How long can buggy hold on to the title with so many challengers

hopefully long enough for Luffy to find the one piece, destroy the WG and create a global utopia where the need for piracy is abolished

Well that's true but only for the rooftop because its somewhat zoros arc after all , if he wanted to make zoro unique he would make him and luffy fight kaido, or make the shougen of wano be actually strong , but in the end he fought king and sanji queen while law and kidd fought big mom , based on feats zoro is stronger then kidd and maybe law but portrayal oda wants them to be almost with luffy imo. Kidd also is like a Walmart version of luffy same for killer and zoro

Although I wouldn’t mind him having escaped because of sheer luck, there might actually be another reason, maybe Oda will surprise us and give Buggy an awakening that gives him a power similar to Gildarts Crush magic for example.

I think awakening would make sense. You don't necessarily need to be strong to have awakening, as even the fodder in impel down had it. Plus buggy has had his fruit for a really long time.

Also, just because Buggy is a joke character doesn't mean he can't be strong to a degree. Oda has made buggy stronger, like how in impel down buggy had his new muggy ball that he invented.

Most joke characters we've seen since buggy have been fodder to Luffy but still strong relative to non-fighters. Like Caesar or Orochi. Since Buggy is the WSC(world's strongest clown), he needs to have something that puts him above orochi or caesar. Awakening would be perfect.

You know with Oda seemingly focusing on the more OP aspects of plant life like photosynthesis and lifedraining, I do think the Chad Aramaki’s fruit is worthy to stand among Admiral level fruits.

But I think the thing with Zoro is that he is consistently portrayed as being both a top Supernova alongside Luffy to the outside world but also as one of Luffy's "wings" within the crew. For the first halfof the raid he was grouped with Luffy while in the second half he was grouped with Sanji
