The new chapter 1053 confirmed that the world government assigns the yonko status and not the pirates themselves.





Kid and Law were not given yonko status but Buggy and Luffy despite getting the same bounty as Luffy and also an overall bounty of 3 billion equaling that of the yonko.
Kid even wanted to attack Luffy during the festival in order to gain yonko status cause he wasn't assigned.



This should finally enlighten all the retards who didn't understand up until know that the world government never wanted any of the yonko defeated, which is one of the main reasons for why the Marines don't wipe them out even so they could do that easily.

they made him yonko under the name "Monkey Luffy" without the D as well as without the nika bounty poster but morgans didn't cooperate.
That would have been enough of a cover up, also they didn't really have much of a choice with Luffy since he is one of the most known pirates throughout the world already and he was the known who LED the alliance.

3 yonkos had connexions with wg, Kaido had deals with the arm industry-cp0, big mom had cp0 invited at her daughter`s weeding as a sign of respect, Shanks is an informer for them also.
It makes sense why the wg/marines didnt wanted to crush them, they are useful+ from time to time those yonkos are crushing the hope of the new wannabe pirates, keeping them around nw is good stuff for wg/marines.

government puts the bounty but the people makes the yonko that is why luffy was called the fifth yonko by morgans who is like the voice of the people

There are dozens of reasons for why the marines wouldn't simply destroy the yonko which was explained to those retards for years by people like me who have an actual working brain.

Morgans is getting orders from the WG/Marines for everything including cover ups, whether he follows that or not is up to him but the WG are the ones who make the decision in the first place.

Why WG would give Luffy Yonko title but keeping the same bounty as 2 other not Yonko?

Not even that but now one of the Yonko has lower bounty than non-Yonko pirates.

That doesn't make any sense.

First of all, Yonko Title doesn't actually matters. Yonko are the ones who rules. Is not like Shichibukai that have special permission of WG.

Now all you have to say is that title such WSC, WSM, WSS are all giving by WG too. Maybe Sword God, JoyBoy, Nika as well?

WG decides bounties of pirates in general and those bounty posters are distributed by morgans newspaper company...
And since they decide the pirates' bounties including that of the yonko of 2-3b+ they obviously also assign the yonko status.

The WG complained about luffy's bounty picture and how they didn't approve it and how they told to get rid of the D which should make you realize that they are the ones who decide that stuff.

And since they never complained about the new yonko assignment, if you could think logically, you would realize it means that they are the ones who assigned the yonko status.

Morgans can obviously alter what's distributed within the newspaper but like i said before, the WG didn't complain about the yonko assignment which means he didn't alter that information.

Morgans is only running the newspaper company he does not decide anything when it comes to any titles/yonko statuses.
