Blackbeard can create, manipulate, and become darkness, hence he is a logia.
Yami Yami no mi is considered a "special" fruit logia, so it's an exception, so can't be used as a counter-example.
the same applies for katakuri, his fruit is considered a "special" paramecia type, so you can't use those in your arguments.

and as to why Robin's fruit isn't a logia, it's simple, she can't 'turn' herself into human body parts. she can only create body parts.

Pica isn't a Logia because he can't use his powers without earth nearby. he can only manipulate it, not create it.
and you can damage him if you hit him directly without using haki

Firstly, Luffy wasn't stronger than Doflamingo until he gained Future Sight.
Secondly, Big Mom sent Cracker to handle one half of the duo who beat Doflamingo, which is exactly how the news was spread. Re-read what Bege told his subordinates about what his "COMRADES" did post Dressrosa.

Besides why the bias in this instance alone?
I'm pretty sure you'd be mad if I used "Kaidou sent the Flying 6 to capture Yamato" to say she's Vet level.
Or if I said "Kaidou sent Jack to capture Luffy & Law in Act 1" to prove Jack > Kata.
Or if I use the fact that GreenCow was sent to capture Nika Luffy who beat Kaidou to prove GreenCow > Kaidou.

Fair but only took this part in consideration because the knowledge Big Mom has and the fight itself was somewhat convincing.

Without Nami's helpful Luffy most likely would have lost as he had the lethality and defense to wither down Luffy

People really think greenbull got intruduced last chapter taking on 2 commenders just to lose the next chapter to veteren scabberds and yamato ? we saw king and queen take on the scabberds in the flashback and i dont think yamato is stronger then king and queen together , GB shouldn't lose this.
