Time for brain-wrecking. Omg i know why Shanks' color theme is red.
Because it's his nature of his self and ambition. Luffy has a white theme now since he has become pure again, a child of innocence who dreams of absolute freedom, and can't be restricted. Blackbeard has a black theme since he wants everything, to be the world's king, to devour the most powerful of every devil fruits.
So how about red? Red can imply courage, but what about something that ties to his ambition? I think it's wrath. Vengeance. He wants to destroy something...or everything that inflicted grear suffering on him and his closest friends, in the past.
that's the reason for his schemes, he will manipulate every factions, obtain benefit from each side of Three Great Powers, make them destroy each other, and his ambition is to be the only one who remains above that destruction. That is...Shanks' Peace
