Yes. Luffy vs. Akainu looks more and more unrealistic. Luffy already surpassed Kaido or is = him. After beating Blackbeard, he will be even stronger. Fighting Akainu after that is rather pointless. He will fall prey to Sabo. Which isn't bad, since Sabo will be one of the most powerful people anyways.

yeah the kind of gap akainu would need to be that villain would have to be equivalent to kaido and someone like king
and its just not something I see at the moment.
