Yep lol. Easiest way to deal with it. That tends to happen a lot in Asian cultures too. Sweep it under the rug and don't speak of it again, don't acknowledge it. It becomes a taboo topic. Discretion is key and so on.

There's no way he suddenly decided to "forget" about Carrot and even have her fail like that against Perospero without good reason. Or at least forget about her for 90-95% of the arc or w/e.
