CoC: Color of Clowns

Mink pheromones hitting like the Zaza
Ok, look. serious question.
Are you SURE you want more Nami panel time?
Are you SURE you want "current Oda" to show how badly he writes Nami post-TS more frequently?
Because for the last 10 years, Nami's been nothing but a walking pair of tits and "motherly" because reasons.
Onigashima Nami is the most barebone shallow Nami writing in the whole post-TS.
A big boasting "i'm gonna beat this woman", saved by zeus because she fucking misses the attack but zeus hits Ulti on his own, then spends the whole rest of the raid hugging Tama and crying.

I know a lot of people, me included, want more "sh's time", but honestly....I'm really worried that we might come to regret it big time.
If post-TS has shown me anything, is that, given enough time, Oda will ruin any plot he tries with any character.
Just think about it.
Nami's importance is in the endgame. Oda has been trying to hide Zoro and Nami's backstories for as long as possible. Nami is Uranus, and connected heavily to the moon. That's why she's always referenced along with the sky, and is able to intrinsically understand and in some cases control the weather. She is the Goddess who controls the skies, Uranus.

Her Wano/Elbaf power up should involved her using Sky Clouds, tying back to Skypiea and her using the Waver. Sky Clouds can be used as shields, weapons, platform, rails for movement: combined with her electric attacks, end-game Nami should be pretty fucking powerful.

Bro, I think this OST track literally confirms my Mt Fuji-erupting-again theory... I'M ROLLING, FUCKING OROCHI WITH THE ASSIST FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE!

Either this is heavy bait, cut content, or we're still not done with Wano.

Luffy has never left a major arc with a village/city without destroying the shit out of the symbol of the bad guy's evil.

Shelltown: Morgan's statue
Arlong Park: Broke... well, Arlong Park
Alabasta: Destroyed the tomb with the Ponyglyph in it
Skypiea: destroyed the bell's stand
Enies Lobby: LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Thriller Bark: holy shit did they wreck that island/Oars
Fishman Island: The Noah
Dressrosa: The whole fucking city, particularly the underground port Doflamingo used for trading

Whenever Luffy liberates a place, something blows up by the end, something that represents the bad guy's evil. Would be hilarious if the Samurai got pissed at Luffy for accidentally blowing up the palace.
Lmao blowing up the palace would be funny but not if people are inside it ofc.

I have lost what very little hope i had left for the One piece anime.

I, like many others thought that Toei, Shueisha and Fuji tv would remake the anime sometime after it ends with near 100% accuracy to the manga. But the recent developments have lead me to conclude otherwise.

There are two routes this could go imo.

1. The anime does poorly because of the recent additions of DBS aura and the ever present snail pace.
If this were to happen, the possibility of getting a better paced manga accurate remake would die with it. As they are more likely to conclude that the audience just fell out of love with one piece than they are to realize that the audience doesn't like the aura and non manga additions. Cause for Toei, more aura=Better.

2. The anime does well/as well as its been doing/average Or its received even better.
This is the more likely outcome as per the Japanese ratings of the anime in recent times. As far as i know, people are still watching the anime in Japan, likely kids and new watchers more so. And this is not a better outcome. Cause this leads Toei and the production committee to conclude that the aura and Dragon Ball like effect is a good thing, that people prefer it to the less flashy manga accurate product. So IF/when we get a remake, the aura and unnecessary effect is likely to follow as well. What's more, they might just add them from the start of the anime ass well. This is not a desirable outcome for me at least.

Imagine classic One piece moments like Arlong park Nami-Luffy moment and fights, Enies Lobby fights, nothing happened, Sabaody, Impel down and Marine ford as well as all the fights in One piece re done in the aura strobe-light style of today.......

The thing with slow pacing is, its somewhat manageable if you can binge it, or there can be Fan edits that fix the pacing to make it somewhat watchable like OnePace. But bad animation choices and styles that clearly clash with what the manga is trying to portray is not avoidable at all. Its gonna be there even if you binge it and it cant be edited out that easily unlike pacing problems.

Of course i am assuming a lot of things like OP anime even getting a remake or the decisions of the anime production committee. They could easily decide to make a completely manga faithful anime adaptation. But the bottom line is that i find that possibility unlikely at this point. So RIP my hopes for a better anime for One piece. :peperain:

I would like to here some counter arguments if anyone has them
