I don't see the monster trio dynamics as ever changing. not after 1000 chapters. so it was always yamato is weaker than sanji or is not joining for me

Agreed. Yamato will not join, of course, but it always will be Luffy at the top and zoro and sanji below. Zoro will fight a slightly stronger member of the enemy crew than Sanji and win after getting his ass kicked and Sanji will fight a inferior opponent and win without such issues to make fans theorize about who is stronger.
