Naruto and One Piece I met a little later when I was 8 years old. At school everyone had the konoha headband, Naruto was much more popular but I always preferred One Piece.

Think the first anime I properly watched was Yugioh. Spent all my lunch money on buying Yugioh card decks. I got Exodia in the first 3 decks or so. I was overjoyed lmao. Prior to it I've seen some episodes of DB and something else I don't remember right now lmao. Then Pokemon, Digimon and Naruto. Naruto was the one I grew up with. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

After that I watched Pokémon, Inuyasha, Conan, Beyblade, Digimon , One Piece etc. it’s too much to count
The first episode of Naruto aired on my birthday, I remember it quite well. Naruto became quickly my fav anime and impacted me the most

At that time I was old enough to cosplay. My house was still being built so I took 3 pieces of wood, I made 3 swords and I had a good time "training" santoryu.

My neighbors used to buy Naruto cards, dont even know if they were official merch but we got a lot of spoilers from them, since there was some shippuden stuff when only classic Naruto was broadcasted here
