Same honestly. I'm a boomer or whatever unironically, born 1990 and this new generation has me dumbfounded lol.
I used to meme on my elders not understanding our generation and being so not tech savvy, modern, progressive and such but as they said, it will happen to me too and thus the joke is on me now too.
These kids raised on hundreds of new apps, far more advanced technology especially smartphones, digital music (streaming especially), social media, livestreaming, Internet celebrity culture, modern games especially mobile games, Fortnite, Genshin Impact, Among Us, FNAF, and whatever else they play feel like complete aliens at times lol.
I can't keep up with them all, they make me feel even older than I actually do.
Just hearing they get their own tablets not even just laptops in some schools at least blows my mind.
Even something like Discord blows my mind that it exists, when not that long ago, Skype and Teamspeak were blowing away lol.
I saw an ad for software that uses AI to let you automatically create paintings using AI generation/rendering to draw mountains as you stroke lines with your fingers or stylus or Whatever. In the video, they created mountains, rivers, skies instantly, when it would take digital artists tons of hours to the same, maybe even 40-50?!
Dall-E/Craiyon with their AI generated images is blowing my mind too. Especially the full version that is not public access. But even the free version is insane!
Then there's Deepfakes and the insane shit Photoshop, After Effects, video editors, 3D modelling and animators can do now, Unreal Engine 5 and Photorealistic graphics in games, Virtual Reality becoming closer to Matrix/Ready Player One etc IRL...
That Futarama, Jetsons or whatever future gradually seems less unreachable, ridiculous, extreme etc over the years, even if its slowly/slightly.
I'm rambling randomly anyway. You can tell I'm starting to get old especially by today's standards too LMFAO!
