Nagato not having the rinnegan organically is a weird choice and doesn’t pay off besides making an eye plot line in the final act of the series. Totally unneeded, as well. It does restrict Kishi’s limited world building, def his biggest weakness.
Lmfao the Sannin hype was always off the walls, Jiraiya and Orochimaru are peers but Itachi is stronger than Orochimaru (admitted in part 1) but Itachi says even with back up he might not beat Jiraiya?
The Sannin hype at its best makes them look like beyond Kage Shinobi but even in part 1 it’s really contradictory and unclear.
Big agree on the deaths. Itachi’s heel turn wasn’t bad but he needed more exposure as a bad guy before he flipped. He basically dick teased us all part 2 about not being evil.
