Its a good thing that oda skipped expanding on zoro's lineage tbh:suresure:
IF Oda elaborated on Zoro's lineage, it would be a major reveal. May be Oda wanted Hito Hito no mi model Nika to be the major reveal of the arc.

In any case, I hate the way Oda handled it. But not expanding Zoro's lineage is the right decision. Trying to expand it was the wrong decision.

I hope Oda learned his lesson and won't try to expand Nami's lineage. The only SHP whose backstory I want further explored is Brook's.

I love sanji but oda gave him a good lineage and not only that he gave him genetic modifications even though sanji did the work to learn haki and flying techniques.

I am not dissing Sanji. But those family dramas seem completely unnecessary for Zoro's character. If Greg was right and Oda planned to do something akin to John Snow in GoT (Greg didn’t say John Snow, but his lineage is the only one I can think of that had a big discussion), I have to ask, why?

How in the hell does it serve the story in any way? Specially now that we are out of Wano.

Same for Nami. How in the hell Oykot war would even play into the story now? Oda doesn’t need to unnecessarily complicate story.
