dude BB took no L here. The fact that he stopped hancock from using her power defines that he is sh*t scared of hancock ability. That is why he doesn't f**king care about seraphim and attacked hancock. If rayleigh intervened and boa gets freed, what he and marines is only waiting for is to get defeated by them.Rayleigh,shakky and boa . It is not enough to worth the risk.I think BB also left bcz rayleigh is tackle the marines, they have to send a marines admiral to tackle with him.

As for using COA. That kid has mihawk's brute strength and maybe some weapon skill.. You can't expect him to get cut

Defeating Blackbeard means taking out his entire crew

So lets get facts straight for what they are
Blackbeard back then was a complete fodder compared to what he is now a full fledged bonafide Yonko with 4 Billion bounty

Kaido Shanks and Big Mom have armies backing them up.

Rayleigh made Blackbeard and his crew run away but of course he can't solo Blackbeard and his crew due to old age.
Old Rayleigh should still be able to solo an emperor in 1v1
