He interested me in design and attitude at first, his Devil fruit got me real hyped second, and his fight with Zoro pushed him high up. The Lunarian stuff adds a layer to him and has King come across in a melancholy mood. Besides being a decent Zoro parallel and the only person Kaido shows respect is also pretty cool
