I was wrong about prime Ray, I admit it lmfao. Here I was thinking Oda just used Kizaru as a hype tool, but no, even Yonko are scared of 79 year old Rayleigh. This man is 7 years older than dying Whitebeard and still Yonko are scared of him. Lol

Roger was never able to reach Mihawk levels of Swordsmanship (Which means CoC) and make a black blade.
No one in Roger's era recognized him as strongest.

The chapter you are looking for is 968 pls go and reread it and you would see how wrong you are. They dropped Roger off and then went to drop oden off . Secondly mihawk does not think Shanks can fight him?? Or does not wanna fight Shanks?? Those are two different statements . But ironically he believes vista can fight him lol
