How bad is current generation to make Koby a Marine Hero?

Back in days Garp was made one because he destroyed the biggest threat to WG and Marines called Rocks Pirates. And pirates helped him to do it.

But now. Koby is the one helping pirates to take over an island and making him a Yonko.

That guy Teach took down although being a former member of Rocks pirates he was a nobody. No Yonko title, no one ever mentioned him before. So Koby straight forward helped a Yonko beating his pirate enemy and was called Hero for that? Pure bullshit.

Oda can expand on Coby's accomplishments later as well.

Nonsense. Titles like that are made to meant similar feats.

Luffy and Roger becoming PK are suppose to be similar level feats.
Anyone becoming Yonko is supposed to be the same level feat. That's why only Luffy is becoming one and not Law and Kid. Buggy for sure is an isolated case.
Zoro becoming WSS will be as great as Mihawk and he becoming Sword God as great as Ryuuma. Same thing about Black Blades.
Kaido WSC lived to the hype of WB's WSM/WSP.

Marine Hero defeating the strongest Pirate Crew to ever exist can't be compared to such an unimportant fight as Teach vs Wang Zhi.
Protecting/saving civilians is something that a bunch of marines do all the time. Why Koby would be a Hero for that?

Another thing that is strange to me is why we had civilians in that island? Wasn't that a Pirate Island before Teach take over?

Not everyone can be like Luffy, Zoro or even Sanji.

Koby has a more normal growth rate, not to mention his starting strength was very very low. People have this incorrect notion that he is the next garp. Garp has always been a chad, Koby was just some loser kid who was weak. I don't think he will even be low admiral level EOS, just a solid VA level guy.
