Literally any other strawhat 
It's not by chance he is trying to abandon/kill all of them. He was against Robin joining them after Alabasta. At W7 it was Usopp, at Zou Sanji, now Vivi. On Thriller Bark the moment he saw Brook, he didn't want him to join. There wouldn't be any crew if it was for Zoro.

No, Zoro might become one of the best but there has been better out there and I can't ever see him become no1 because he simply isn't as intelligent as Ray and Becks although Zoro is very pragmatic. Fun topic
Tier 1
Rayleigh, Beckman, Vergo. 40-50 years old, incredibly powerful, have the captains trust, mature and experienced, sailed for 20+ years as Vice Captain, intelligent.
Tier 2
Shiryu. 45-55 years old, incredibly powerful, have the captains trust, mature and experienced, has previously been a leader. Only lacks enough time with the crew.
Tier 3
Jinbei, Killer, Robin, Gin. Cool, calm, collected. Powerful. Provide perfect balance to their crews and captains. 25-30 years old so still lacking top experience. Trusted by captain and crew as No2.
Tier 4
Zoro, King, Katakuri, Daz Bones. Very powerful but they all lack something. Experience, crews trust or captains trust.
Tier 5
Sabo, Oden. Young, inexperienced. May go off on a whim. Incredibly powerful. Lead by example.
Tier 1

Move Jinbei down a tier or 2
Jinbei is worse now that he's a part of the Strawhats
Oda made him a Yes man that either agrees with what Luffy says or chooses not to speak on it
A vice captain has to be able to buck the Captain on different decisions and actually change their mind or help them see the error of their ways
Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Robin (kind of) are the only ones that really do that
But they all (except Zoro... mostly) have their own issues
Nami acts on emotion rather than logic too often
Robin mostly gives advice instead of directly opposing Luffy
And Sanji is pretty much a non factor whenever it concerns a woman

My man is always there when the crew is about to make some foolish decision or Luffy goes in the wrong path, he's not Rayleigh or Beckman of SHP, but the first Roronoa Zoro
