Like I said, Ryokugyu being able to achieve a black blade on top of a (potentially) awakened Logia in his 40+ years of life is completely 100% within the realm of possibility for what Oda has established as far as these times frames go.
Luffy took 10 years to Awaken. Mihawk probably didn’t claim Yoru until well into his adult life, meaning it probably took him about 10ish years to turn the black black. Ryokugyu doing both is 100% no trolling completely possible.

I never straight up denied the possibility unless I was trolling but I just think if Oda didn't give Shanks or Roger or Rayleigh..Haki based fighters a black blade he probably won't give it to Green Bull since Black Blade is being projected as an important accomplishment for Swordsmen.
Maybe he has, we just don't know what Black Blade is but you'd think Oda would pick "Blind Swordsman of Navy" to have Black Blade if any admiral at all.

Finally, finally. It has been approximately 7 years since Smoker and Tashigi appeared in the manga. The longest stretch in which they haven’t shown up. I’ve theorized it’s been for a big purpose involving Vegapunk and their next introduction will be taking action against the Government.
