Not even that, I'm talking way way earlier
In essence the theory went like this:
- King is a woman
- she wss born in wano
- wanted to be a samurai but wano culture didn't allow it
- trained in secret in hope to one day be accepted
- skip forward, kaido arrives
- makes king subordinate
- due to prior trauma and not wanting to "embaress" Kaido, she puts on the suit and hides her true self
The pay off would be Zoro facing off with her once he finds out she's a woman. He would realize Kuina's insecurities were for nothing - it's possible for women to be strong as well. And he would also have to revert to his old self that took female fighters as seriously as male
I'll lose whatever little hope I have left for the series.
