So from what we've seen this last chapter, we are introduced to what seems to be some kind of clone created by Vegapunk, named "Punk 02". The weird part is that this clone bares a striking resemblance to Sora, Sanji's mother. It's no secret that Vegapunk and Judge worked together many years prior under the scientific group known as MADs. Considering this, it it highly plausible that Vegapunk knows who Sora is. She might even had been apart of MAD's and wasn't with Judge at the time, and Vegapunk was trying to get with her, but in the end, she ended up choosing Judge.
I can see this scenario being a kind of spin of the Hogback scenario on Thriller Bark with Cindry, where he had Moriah use his Devil Fruit to "bring back to life" the woman he was in love with, who died. Only in this case, Vegapunk, who lost Sora to Judge, and she later died, used his scientific abilities to create a clone of her.
This is definitely a common "Love triangle" trope used in fiction, and I wouldn't be surprised if Oda utilizes it here as a means to give us more information on the whole "Sora" and World Government situation.
