Ok, standard plot minus Kuma father of Bonney. Nice how there are 6 vegapunks. But now I want Oda to at least explain why of all the possible times to assassinate Vegapunk he had to do it now.

Also nice to see Lucci again, but on one hand he can absolutely not be the villain of the arc. Lucci should be far from yonko tier, from YC1 tier too but I would not be surprised if Oda retcons him to at least YC1 lvl. On the other Luffy can not as well destroy him, there will probably be some plot induced stupidity and have him somewhat be a decent fight for Luffy. That or this was the #fake cliffhanger and Lucci and crew got stopped somewhat.

Pre-GGnM BB was in the YC1 spectrum, meaning Magellan and Shiryu were at that level bare minimum too. Even Luffy and Zoro couldn't hit that level without substantial power-ups despite training under literal top-tiers. You aren't paying attention if you think Burgess could pull it off with Haki and diamond fruit. Jozu's got higher physical strength than Burgess, he's got Haki, and diamond fruit; guess where he stands in the power spectrum? Below YC1s. Bear in mind, we're still talking about Shiryu before he's even given his fruit.
